I’m a writer in my late 20s, trying to figure out love, life, and how to get the most out of my TWO (2) degrees. I love research and I’m the kind of nerd that likes analyzing the heck out of every single piece of media I consume so expect a lot of that here.
I’ve got an an opinion on basically everything. If you like strong opinions, candid talk about mental/physical health and trauma, and the occasional ode to fictional characters, then you’ll probably love me.
This blog focuses on analysis of nerdy media, book reviews, and lots of commentary about race in fandom and the source media that spawns our favorite fandoms.

To be fair, when I open a video talking about fandom sucking, it’s easy to understand why I’m not more popular in fandom spaces. I’m not necessarily nice about certain things, but then — I don’t have to be. Three … Continue reading

I went a bit overboard when it came to getting comics this week so I decided to do little reviews for all of them (in addition to the two big reviews for the comics I already did for Word of … Continue reading
This week’s Bond Girl post is about my favorite Bond film in Pierce Brosnan’s run: GoldenEye. Here’s an excerpt: Alec Trevelyan betrays Bond (and MI6) while his own feelings of betrayal drive him. Of course. He has the requisite tragic backstory … Continue reading
Trying to choose your favorite James Bond actor is like trying to pick your favorite child or your favorite book.
Too many options.
Too many chances to get the whole thing wrong.
It’s not as if the fate of the world hinges on that decision or as if there’s any way to be wrong, but still, when it comes time to pick that one top Bond, I stall. Continue reading
