This story made me laugh until I started wheezing (which is a big deal because I woke up crying this morning before I started reading…)

When I’m willing to risk an asthma attack over a story, you all know it’s good. Arthur/Eames is one of those ships I don’t think of but I just ship it. I can’t explain why and I’ve never attempted to, but it clicks for me. The ship doesn’t need to make sense but shipping it and reading stories about it just makes me feel good.

I want to just talk endlessly about this story and I want everyone to read it. I just… I have so many emotions and no idea how to convey them all, not even in the lengthy essay-like comment that I wrote the author as I was penning this rec.

There are three things that you need to know when you read this story:

• It will eat up all of your time if you’re like me and unable to stop reading mid-story/book
• You will laugh. You will cry. You will consider punching one specific character in the story multiple times.
• If you are sad when you start reading Next Big Thing, you won’t be sad when you finish.

If you love schmoop, realistic relationships, good things happening to fabulous people, and reality television, then you’re going to love this story.
