“Stitch After Dark” is my attempt at finding a home for reviews of R-18 content that I’m reading and kind of obsessed with. Previously, I did reviews on Dreamwidth (like this trio) and on Twitter, but for what should be obvious reasons… neither of those spaces are an option for me to express myself in any way any longer.

So I am once again attempting to start a (very small) newsletter where, at least once a month, I (over) share about the R-18 content I’m reading and how much I love it/what I love about it.

The newsletter will follow a similar format to my regular series Manga Monday, Webtoon Wednesday, and Fic Friday but will have slightly spicier official graphics, more intensive or expansive content warnings/notes, and, in the case of ASMR, embedded audio previews.

It’s not a series that’s going to be everyone’s cup of tea and I’m okay with that! I just hope I reach the people who have been hoping for something like this so they can find good reviews of content that tends to get overlooked on review sites since it’s All Spice, All The Time.

Now, WordPress.com doesn’t have suitable age gating procedures so I’ve chosen to make it a paid newsletter with a 2 dollar minimum so I can use my main site without having to make an alt for it. (It was going to be $1 but the fees on the backend are ridiculous!)
